Festive Afternoon Tea at The Connaught
Get the festive feels at Mayfair’s five-star Connaught hotel which pulls out all the stops for Christmas with its famous artist-designed tree. The hotel’s afternoon tea is given a festive makeover for Christmas with turkey- and chestnut-filled finger sandwiches, homemade scones and cakes flavoured with gingerbread, orange, cinnamon, cranberry and chestnut. Available from 14 November, 2023 to 1 January 2024, the Festive Afternoon Tea costs from £95 per person.
Festive Afternoon Tea at The Beaumont
Indulge in The Beaumont hotel’s Festive Afternoon Tea, served in Gatsby’s Room, inspired by 1920s Mayfair. Tuck into seasonal sandwiches stuffed with the likes of turkey, stuffing and cranberry; and egg and brussel sprout kimchi. Follow this with cranberry and buttermilk scones topped with cream and jam, and Christmassy pastries, including pear and mulled wine mousse; and spiced orange and chocolate cake; cranberry and pistachio choux and chestnut, blackberry and vanilla tart. There is also a special children’s menu available.
Available from 21 November, 2023 to 8 January, 2024, this Festive Afternoon Tea costs from £75 per person and £30 per child aged from seven to 12.
Festive Afternoon Tea at The Biltmore
Tuck into The Biltmore’s Festive Afternoon Tea in its dedicated tea lounge. Begin with Christmassy sandwiches, including turkey, stuffing and cranberry; and mulled wine cured salmon with chives crème fraiche, before sinking your teeth into more savoury treats, including beetroot choux bun with pumpkin and cinnamon; parmesan sable with rosemary and cranberry goats cheese; and mushroom duxelle with chestnuts. Also on the menu are scones with cream and jam, and some picture-perfect festive desserts, including a reindeer chestnut mousse; a Christmas ornament made from cheery sponge; A chocolate-mousse flavoured Christmas wreath; and a Holly Bell made from dark chocolate ganache.
