“Like everyone looking on, I have been overcome with a sense of shock and sadness. While we all look for ways to come together and help, I can’t think of a better expression of what I think we all need than these symbols of ‘Help’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Love’ Annoushka will donate 100% of the proceeds from our Helping Hands collection directly to the Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal, who are doing amazing work to help Ukrainian refugees in Poland and other bordering countries.” – Annoushka Ducas

Each Helping Hand pendant depicts a recognisable hand gesture. Hoping Hands is illustrated by a single hand with crossed fingers, Loving Hands shows two hands put together to form the shape of a heart, while Helping Hands shows two hands holding. Each pendant has been engraved on the reverse with its message, framing a small heart in the centre – a heraldic emblem of kindness and love.

Throughout history, hand symbols have been part of our cultural conscience, depicted in art, religion, politics and popular culture alike. Recognised as expressing love, appreciation, power, peace and honesty, simply by their arrangement, the hand is one of the most frequently symbolised and poetic parts of the human body. Annoushka will donate the full proceeds from the Helping Hands collection from the 8th March to The Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.
