Christmas lights on Mount Street

Don’t miss Mount Street‘s dazzling Christmas lights display, featuring a whopping 63,000 lights.

On the corner of Mount Street is The Connaught hotel‘s world-famous Christmas tree, designed by London-based artist Suzy Murphy, who is holding an exhibition of her work called Of Dark and Light at the Lyndsey Ingram gallery from 16 November to 23 December, 2022. This year’s tree is playfully decorated with glittering dog decorations.

While you’re on Mount Street, enjoy special Christmas dining menus at The Connaught and see the shops and restaurants transformed with eye-catching Christmas decorations. A must for Instagrammers, showstopping displays include one at Scott’s where you’ll find a giant silver giraffe drinking out of a giant martini glass.

Mount Street is just an eight-minute walk from Bond Street tube station.

Sustainable Christmas lights

Mayfair’s festive light display will be using energy-efficient LED bulbs and the iconic neighbourhood will continue to operate the Christmas lights on a timer from 3pm to 12pm midnight, an initiative introduced in 2021 with the aim of reducing energy consumption and promoting a more sustainable Christmas.
