Artist Frida Wannerberger is showcasing a selection of her works at the Pringle of Scotland Mount Street boutique from the 1st of March 2022. A long-time collaborator with the brand, Frida has previously worked on illustrations, collection launches and art exhibitions with Pringle, including a capsule collection for AW18 featuring Frida’s hand drawn Argyle and Lion motifs on the brand’s iconic cashmere jumpers.
The works shown at the store will include oil on canvas and ceramic pieces, exploring reflections, ideas, and observations on thoughts on womanhood and girlhood, and the response to the pandemic and the lack of physical closeness to others.
Trained at Central Saint Martins, Frida has exhibited with Rebecca Hossack Gallery, Mount Street Curates and featured in Harper’s Bazaar Art. Selected commissions include Bonhams Auction House, The Wallace Collection and in addition to her artistic practice and through her interest in dress history, she has taught workshops at the V&A and participated in panel talks at the Courtauld Institute of Art.
