Spring is in the air – and in the kitchens – on our London estate.
Daylesford
There’s a whole section of the café’s menu devoted to spring salads. ‘Spring roots’ features beetroot, fennel, radish, Greek-style cheese, toasted caraway and fennel pollen.
L’ETO
Head to West Halkin Street in Belgravia and sample some of the amazing Mediterranean-inspired dishes at L’ETO. This month we’d go for the caramelized beetroot, dates and goat’s cheese salad with baby spinach, green beans, radicchio and almonds.
34 Mayfair
Just off Grosvenor Square, this fabulous eatery has plenty of fish dishes to boast about. But the best thing to focus on this month is the just-in-season Norfolk Asparagus. There’s a whole bit of the menu devoted to it, including steamed asparagus, asparagus soup and fried duck egg with asparagus.
Comptoir Café and Wine
The tomato gazpacho with black olives, cucumber and croutons at this Weighhouse Street location will leave you wanting more. There’s also a beetroot and feta salad on offer, so why not pop along and sample some fresh spring dishes?
Mae Deli
Weighhouse Street in Mayfair is home to Mae Deli and there’s plenty of green, spring-inspired dishes on offer. Think green pea, spinach and leek soup, or cauliflower and butterbean falafel with creamy hummus.
Thomas Cubitt
You’re not short for fabulous dining in Elizabeth Street, but Thomas Cubitt has got an exciting veggie dish up for grabs – heritage carrots served with grilled fennel, rum raisins, radicchio and orange dressing. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
