There’s nowhere more romantic to spend Valentine’s evening than Mayfair, and luckily for us, some our favourite restaurants are offering special menus and live music for the occasion.
From Mount Street institution Delfino’s, where the chefs have created a selection of Valentine’s specials for the night including a unique pizza with oysters, to Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, which has a sharing menu on offer from 12th – 14th February including native lobster and blood orange salads, Lake District Farmers Chateaubriand, and Dover sole.
Meanwhile, Native at Browns are open on the Monday itself with a special ‘Wild’ Valentines Menu, and Stripes at Brown Hart Gardens have prepared a romantic seafood and caviar set menu, to be accompanied by a live violinist on the evening.
If you’re looking for afternoon tea à deux, The Biltmore has a Valentine’s themed one at £75 per person from the 11th – 14th February, with chocolate and blood orange tarts and champagne on the menu, and you can stay on for dinner with a delightful sharing menu on offer at the Café Biltmore Restaurant and Terrace.
For a romantic Indian meal with a twist, diners should head to Bibi, where the team will be opening the restaurant on the Monday for the occasion, and serving up a Valentine’s Day Chef’s Selection, featuring featuring celebratory dishes like Lobster Ka Shora, Ajwaini Brill and Aged Swaledale Lamb Chops and Sharmaji’s Lahori Chicken, plus plenty of vegetarian options too.
Alternatively, Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay is serving up a unique tasting menu immaculately tailored for an evening for two, and accompanied by glasses of champagne. If caviar, honey-glazed quail and Black Forest profiteroles take your fancy, you can book your table here.
And finally, for a contemporary casual experience, don’t miss out on Burger and Lobster’s Valentine’s Day sharing menu, with more information coming soon…
