Buckingham Palace is an immense complex with over 700 rooms. As you can imagine, a tour of this building can take its toll on your energy levels.

Thankfully, there are two saving graces in this scenario, and number one is that only 19 state rooms are publicly available for viewing!

The second is that there are some amazing luxury cafes near Buckingham Palace that can quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite at the same time.

After standing in awe of the grand staircase produced by architect John Nash during the 1800s, take a few steps of your own into the Mayfair neighbourhood where you will find all of the very best locations for enjoying a bite to eat, a revitalising smoothie or perhaps a glass of wine.

And the evening selection of wine and cheese is a wonderful addition to the inventory.

There is a small terrace to the front of the cafe with a classy dark wood and tiled interior with exposed brickwork and low-hanging soft lighting. It is one of our favourite places to relax and enjoy the afternoon.
