Lunchtime has been the neglected mealtime of lockdown. With little to no time to prepare and enjoy it during the working day, it’s whipped up and wolfed down at the dining room table without even a second thought. As the restaurants and cafes reopen across Mayfair & Belgravia, we want to show you what you’ve been missing out on and what’s there waiting for you…
New to Eccleston Yards this summer, brunch and all-day dining restaurant Morena has opened their doors in the Belgravia courtyard offering flavour in everything they serve. Expertly roasted on-site Columbian coffee as well as Latin-American inspired dishes and cocktails are the perfect accompaniment to the atmosphere of the courtyard. Acai bowls, avocado tacos, Arepas and fresh air will transform your everyday eats into lavish lockdown lunches.
Also thriving in Eccleston Yards is Wild by Tart’s new pop-up restaurant in the courtyard, serving a continuation of Wild by Tart’s farm to fork ethos, with all the ingredients seasonally or locally sourced. A carefully curated menu of drinks will also be available, from Summer cocktails to favourite wines and draft beer, all that can be enjoyed in the summer sunshine of the courtyard. Alongside Wild by Tart is The Jones Family Kitchen, serving speciality steaks, delicious salads & indulgent sides. The family run business take pride in sourcing the freshest and most organic produce, working closely with likes of The Ginger Pig and Flying Fish. Enjoy lunch, drinks, or dinner in the summer sun on their outdoor terrace.
Over in Mayfair just off Duke Street is home to plant-based deliciousness Deliciously Ella. The deli, owned by Deliciously Ella herself, is located on Weighhouse Street and brings the cookbooks, recipes and ingredients to life with a space for the Deliciously Ella community to enjoy. Offering everything from shakshuka and acai bowls for breakfast to smoky bean stews and cauliflower dahls for lunch, the deli satisfies and nourishes all in one, and has the perfect promenade to sit and relax.

We recommend trying Popina’s extensive breakfast menu whether you’re craving sweet or savoury, they’ve got something from around the world that will tickle your taste buds.
For anyone who’s been craving a pub lunch, Belgravia is the place to go. Home to three of the best Gastropubs in London, there’s always a buzzy atmosphere awaiting you with a menu of British and locally sourced produce. Head to The Thomas Cubitt to enjoy the pretty street of Elizabeth Street, The Alfred Tennyson to absorb the atmosphere of Motcomb Street’s Halkin Arcade as the pub extends their outdoor seating, and The Orange to dine in the design district of Belgravia, Pimlico Road.
