Everyone’s welcome at the LFW City-Wide Celebration

In celebration of London Fashion Week, the British Fashion Council is curating a series of events engaging communities throughout the capital and inviting everyone to get involved. Running from Friday 17th to Tuesday 21st September, LFW City-Wide Celebration marks a long-awaited cultural reopening of London, and Mayfair is taking centre stage, with some of our most famous shops and restaurants playing a part.

Head into W1 this weekend, and explore brands including Erdem, Bamford, Oscar de la Renta, Eskander, J&M Davidson, Huishan Zhang, Creed and Linda Farrow, not to mention Kai Mayfair and Native at Browns – both perfect for a bite to eat as you seek out your new fashion favourites.

Plus, take a look at Limited Edition London, part of the Mayor of London’s ‘Let’s Do London’ campaign which was launched to help encourage visitors back to the centre of the capital. The calendar offers Londoners and visitors a varied selection of exclusive events, activities and clothing through in-person experiences starting at the beginning of London Fashion Week and continuing until the end of November – a part of this includes ‘The Autumn Edition’, Mayfair’s seasonal campaign celebrating the super stylish fashion houses it plays home to.

This season, London Fashion Week will focus on the joy of clothing through the lens of responsibility, in line with the British Fashion Council’s Institute of Positive Fashion mission to encourage positive change in the fashion industry. Last month, the BFC announced its commitment to the Race to Zero pledging to take immediate action, and called on all brands to pledge to the same campaign, set targets and milestones to drive serious change.
